Cafe Away is a home bakery passion project created by founder, Vena Duong. 

The story starts from her childhood. Vena often moved around a lot but amidst all the changes and transitions, there was one constant in her life – baking. She realized that the only time she ever felt a sense of security and warmth was when she was baking.

Not only is this a passion, it's her identity. The kitchen is her safe space, a place where she could create, experiment, and express herself. It's the only thing that brings her peace amongst the chaos. No matter where she went, this is reminiscent of her childhood being in a first generation Vietnamese home.

This cafe not only embodies her journey through life, it represents the idea that home isn't always a fixed place; it's a feeling. It's the comfort and warmth it brings to one another no matter how far away we may be from home.
